The ICP
Pre-Launch
We do the hard work up front, through an extensive collaboration with your team, to create an ICP (Ideal Candidate Profile) for each position. This is the foundation for our proprietary search process. A complete, well developed ICP accelerates the hiring cycle and delivers highly qualified talent to your organization.
Building the Profile
The Ideal Candidate Profile… is built through our deep understanding of your organization, your goals and how your organization is structured. It “takes a second” to get there, but when we do the results are profound. Essentially our process centers on this all important first step.

ICP development makes up the initial component, the PRE-LAUNCH, of our recruiting system we call THE AHC COMBINE®.
The AHC COMBINE®

- PRE-LAUNCH We spend important time with you. And we translate, interpret, come to a full understanding, together, of what your company needs. The result is your ICP (Ideal Candidate Profile). Given our experience and market knowledge, we are also able to suggest what’s realistic based on your company’s stage, reputation, needs and budget.
- SEARCH LAUNCH: By invitation only… we scour our network and other data sources to find the “right” candidates that match your ICP. Many times, it can take 50-100 candidates to find YOUR ICP.
- SCREENING: Assessment of Skills, Fit, etc. We do this through a series of Interviews and Evaluations. After reviewing each prospect’s “draft stock,” our senior team weighs in on each candidate you see.
- CANDIDATE SUBMISSIONS: Each submission comes with specific information as to how the candidate matches to your ICP criteria. Each search is different, but we strive to have 3 Candidates within 2-3 weeks. This is the “acid test.” Did we get it right? Do we need to re-consider any aspects of the ICP.
- OPTIMIZE: Based on the results of the initial submissions, we tweak our approach and typically have YOUR candidate within another 2-3 weeks. So, total of 4-6 weeks to have the finalist.
- COORDINATION: We are hands on, we organize the interviews, work candidates through your system, manage the process.
- MOVE TO HIRE: The optimal candidate at an appropriate price.
